This is the first time that an International Symposium on Biomineralization is taking place in China. Recently biomineralization is becoming a hot field attracting more and more scientists and engineers to be involved. In this coming symposium we will exchange the up-to-date understanding of mechanisms of biomineralization and new strategics for applications of biomineralization principles.The above photo is the night sight of Shenzhou Hotel, which is at the seashore of Lianyungang City. Lianyungang City is a harbor city in the north of Jiangsu province, China.
